Author Tracy Causley
Born into a military family, Tracy grew up zig-zagging the country before landing in Germany for seven years. Inspired by her early foreign travel adventures she obtained a Master of Fine Arts degree in art history from Savannah College of Art and Design.
Though she initially pursued a career in museum studies, Tracy's varying interests took her in different directions including working as a realtor, travel director, life coach, Reiki practitioner and proprietress of a holistic wellness center. She now writes award-winning historical fiction seasoned with supernatural themes. Tracy's debut novel, IN THE SHADOW OF LIGHT, won the 2018 IPPY award for Best First Book in Fiction.
When Tracy isn't writing, she enjoys investigating family history mysteries, listening to 80s inspired synth pop, reading, and traveling. She's a novice crocheter, pretty-good pie baker, and trivia lover. Tracy lives in Northern Virginia with her comic creator husband Sean Causley, craft-obsessed daughter, and sweetie-pie pup Jonah.
